Information for interested parties pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679

Legislation on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation - EU Regulation 679/2016)

Privacy Code D.Lgs. 196/2003 (renewed by D.Lgs. 101/2018).

The CompanySchneider Tools S.r.l., wishes to inform the interested parties who are the objectof the processing, that the personal data referred to or referable to the interested party, are processed by the Company in full compliance with current legislation on data processing and the obligations of confidentiality that have always inspired us. Processing of personal data" means any operation or set of operations, carried out even without the aid of electronic instruments, concerning the collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, dissemination, cancellation and destruction of data, even if not recorded in a database.

In accordance with art.13 of the GDPR (EU Regulation 679/2016), in relation to the personal data that we process following the establishment of mutual commercial and possibly contractual relationships, we disclose the information below.

Data Controller

Purpose of the Treatment

The personal data of the data subject are processed in relation to contractual requirements and the consequent fulfilment of legal and fiscal obligations, as well as to allow an effective management of financial and commercial relations; this processing will be carried out for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and even afterwards, for the fulfilment of legal obligations and for administrative and commercial purposes.

In case of subscription to the Newsletter service available by registering on the appropriate page of the website www.schneider-tools.com (or other sites owned by Schneider Tools S.r.l.) the personal data provided voluntarily by the person concerned will be processed:

  • for the sending by email of communications regarding new products or new commercial initiatives, fairs or events;
  • for telephone contacts made by internal staff.

Within the scope of the purpose for which the personal data are collected, Schneider Tools S.r.l. processes such data according to the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of the confidentiality of the rights of the interested party.

Nature of Contribution

Personal data is always collected from the person concerned.

The provision of such data, necessary for the purposes described, is essential for the complete execution of the communication, marketing, commercial and possibly contractual activities; the refusal to provide such data may result in the failure or partial realization of the services of the Company.

Data Processing Method

The data processing is carried out according to the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency, using instruments and procedures suitable to guarantee security and confidentiality and may be carried out either on paper or with the help of electronic instruments.

The processing is carried out with the use of appropriate security measures to minimize the risk of unauthorized access to data by third parties, their destruction and/or deterioration, and to ensure confidentiality, pursuant to art. 32 of the GDPR.

Personal Data Retention

Personal Data will be kept only for the time necessary for the purposes for which they are collected, in compliance with the principle of minimization set forth in Article 5, paragraph 1, letter c) of GDPR as well as the legal obligations to which the Owner is bound.

Data Communication

Personal data will not be disseminated in any way, but may be communicated by us:

  • to the subjects in charge, duly appointed, of their treatment within the Company;
  • to entities and associations connected to the Company;
  • to subjects who need access to such data for purposes auxiliary to the relationship between our Company and the person concerned, within the limits strictly necessary to perform the auxiliary tasks entrusted to them, such as: credit institutions;
  • the administrative consulting firm (accountant), appropriately appointed as external data processor.

Special categories of personal data.

When sending a curriculum vitae, in accordance with articles 26 and 27 of the Privacy Code and articles 9 and 10 GDPR 2016/679, the data subject may voluntarily provide the undersigned Company with data that can be qualified as "special categories of personal data" (i.e. data revealing "racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data aimed at uniquely identifying a natural person, data relating to a person's health or sexual life or sexual orientation"). This category of data may be processed by the undersigned Company only with the prior written consent of the person concerned.

Rights of the Interested Party

The interested party, in accordance with GDPR (Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22), may exercise the following rights against the undersigned Company (by sending an email to [email protected]), summarized below:

  • To obtain confirmation whether personal data concerning you is being processed or not and, if so, to obtain access to your personal data and all the information provided for in art. 15 of the GDPR;
  • Eventually obtain the rectification of your inaccurate personal data without undue delay. Concerning the purposes of the processing, you have the right to obtain the integration of incomplete personal data, including by providing an additional statement.
  • Obtain the deletion of personal data concerning you without undue delay;
  • Obtain the limitation of the processing when one of the hypotheses provided for in art. 18 of the GDPR applies;
  • Receive in a structured format, in common use and readable by automatic device, the personal data concerning the person concerned provided to the undersigned Company;
  • Oppose at any time, for reasons related to your particular situation, the processing of personal data concerning you pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, letters e) or f) of GDPR. In this case, the Company will abstain from further processing of personal data unless there are compelling legitimate reasons for processing that prevail over the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for ascertaining, exercising or defending a right in court;
  • not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing which produces legal effects concerning him/her or significantly affects him/her in a similar way. This right shall not apply in cases governed by Article 22(2) of the GDPR;
  • Refer to the Supervisory Authority to complain if it considers that your data has been processed unlawfully.
